Soils worthy of protection in Lower Saxony 1: 50 000 — Search rooms for soils of cultural historical importance (WMS Service)

Soils that are particularly worthy of protection include soils whose natural functions and their archival function are essentially preserved. This includes soils with high cultural historical significance. Soils with cultural historical significance are documents of human soil cultivation and have archival character. Historically important soils have emerged, for example, through arable measures that are no longer in use today. The data set shows search rooms, i.e. only the approximate location, for wolf bakers. They are based on LBEG surveys and are published by Schmoock & Gehrt (2017). The admission is not nationwide for Lower Saxony and therefore incomplete. It is continuously updated.
