Dataset description
The data set contains the results of the forest site survey regarding the substrate moisture levels in Saxony. The substrate moisture is an essential site-differentiating feature, the gradation of which results from the combination of usable water storage capacity and drainage behaviour of the forest soil. The potentially usable soil water reservoir is considered a strain property and can be referred to as soil storage moisture, which is an essential component of substrate moisture. The data is used for the forest location map.
