Dataset description

Individual forms (END, e.g. valuable trees, rocks, caves) as well as areas worthy of conservation up to 5 ha (FND, e.g. smaller water areas, bogs, heaths) can be designated as a natural monument under § 28 NatSchG. Their protection status is comparable to that of a nature reserve. Some UIS tools offer the following geometries: — DST Local: automated Property Card (ALKIS) as the basis for recording. This layer contains only the spatial data processed by the competent authority and included in the monthly data exchange. — Service nationwide: the complete spatial data of the country is available as Web Map Service (WMS), ALKIS compliant. In this layer, the data are merged nationwide but cannot be processed by the services. The stock is updated monthly
