BadenovaWÄRMEPLUS wants to significantly expand the district heating supply in Freiburg. The map provides an overview of the gradual development of new areas according to the planning status of October 2022 and updates are foreseen. — The blue areas are essentially already accessible with district heating. Here, a connection is directly possible after a test. — In the green areas, a connection according to examination 2024 is possible. — In the organic areas, extensions of the district heating network are planned by 2025, a connection is possible after testing within 12 months. — Extensions of the district heating network are planned in the yellow area until 2027. — In the red areas, an extension of the network is currently planned for the period after 2027. According to BadenovaWÄRMEPLUS, the following applies within all areas: All requests for a district heating connection are checked. Anchor customers (with > 1 MWh heat heel per track meter) can be connected directly after testing.
