Dataset description

Geothermal energy is becoming increasingly important in the energy transition. In order to estimate the geothermal potential of a site, the geothermal properties of the underground rocks must be known. The 124 m thick Cretaceous profile of the Anröchte-Klieve core borehole with carbonate rocks from the Cenomanium toTuronium is representative of the subsurface of the southeastern Münsterland. It is therefore ideally suited for raising goethermally relevant parameters of the rock layers.
