Dataset description

The trend map of the Quaternary Base shows the depth lines of the quaternary base related to NHN. The -100 m NHN line illustrates the spread of Pleistocene gutters. The -400 m NHN line is included as the deepest isoline. The map is based on evaluations from the former Land Geological Office (GLA) Schleswig-Holstein from 1977 and 1991 as well as information from various research and project areas. It shall be updated at irregular intervals in the presence of more recent information. Since the quality of the output data and the processing levels are regionally different, this map is a trend map for the nationwide overview in scale 1: 200,000 and smaller to see.
