Determination of the pedogenic retention potential of soils in the urban area of Saarbrücken. The PR was determined using the example of 25 areas in the city area of Saarbrücken. Assessment of the current land use in the greater Saarbrücken area regarding the pedogenic retention potential, is based on outdated information bases (before 1996) field ‘Nutz_lfu’ contains the usage key (coding of land use according to ARWEILER et al. 1998) field ‘Nutz_ges’ contains a generalised usage key field ‘fitness’ encodes the rating results (0=unsuitable, 1=suitable) field ‘Legend’ contains the clear text information on the field ‘fitness’
