This download service provides the administrative areas 1:1 000 000 (VG1000) as at 31.12. for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. The database of administrative areas (VG) comprises the administrative units of all hierarchical levels from the state to the districts with the respective administrative boundaries, statistical key figures, the names of the administrative units and the specific designations of the administrative levels. The data are divided into state, state, administrative districts and districts.In addition, the dataset includes names of national minorities and overviews of administrative units. The geometry of the boundaries is aligned with the ATKIS®-DLM1000 in terms of accuracy and resolution. As of 31.12., it is possible to connect to federal statistics. Scale: 1:1000000
