WFS Digital Landscape Model 1:1 000 000

This is a download service of the Digital Landscape Model 1:1 000 000 for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. The digital landscape model 1:1 000 000 (DLM1000) describes the topographic objects of the landscape and the relief of the earth’s surface in vector format. The objects are assigned to a particular object type and defined by their spatial location, their geometric type, descriptive attributes and relationships with other objects (relations). The database includes object types, such as roads, railways, waters, settlements, vegetation and administrative boundaries (up to the county level) So the relief is represented by contour lines and other surface shapes. Which object types the DLM1000 contains in detail and how the objects are formed is defined in the ATKIS® object type catalog (ATKIS®-OK1000).
