Dataset description

This WebFeatureService (WFS) provides the data on heat demand in Hamburg. The data set “Heat requirements” of the heat cadastre provides the useful heat requirement (Fig.: NWB — heat demand for heating and hot water) of the Hamburg building stock in aggregated form. The (use) heat demand of the Hamburg building stock is displayed at the building block level and at cluster level. In addition, you can choose between two refurbishment stages: 1. “Unrenovated” implies a building condition that does not have thermal upgrades (except for a simple window replacement) 2. “Refurbished” adopts a conventional renovation of all buildings (according to ENEV 2014). The representation and categorisation can be selected as follows: 1. Total needs of all residential and non-residential buildings of the cluster or block unit; in megawatt hours per year [MWh/a] 2. Specific heating requirements of residential buildings (clusters); in kilowatt hours per square meter usable area and year [kWh/m² a] 3. “Heat density in the building block”; Total needs of all residential and non-residential buildings (such as No.1) divided by the floor area of the respective building block; in kilowatt hours per square meter of building block floor space and year [kWh/m² a] Detailed information can be found in the heat register manual.
