The indicator describes the state of designation of protected areas for (strict) nature and species conservation in relation to the administrative area (excluding marine areas). The European NATURA2000 sites are integrated. For more information, visit http://www.ioer-monitor.de/index.php?id=44&ID_IND=L08RG. Registration is required for the use of WCS and WFS services.
