Dataset description

Presentation of the situation of agricultural land located in nitrate-contaminated areas according to the Saxon Fertilisation Regulation (SächsDüReVO) and in dry areas. The definition of the dry area with less than 550 mm of annual rainfall in the long-term means is justified in accordance with Section 13a(2)(7) of the DüV. The delimitation of the dry areas is based on average annual precipitation sums of the German Weather Service with a spatial resolution of 1 000 m in the period 2011 to 2020.
