Dataset description

This service provides the Baden-Württemberg-Mosaike monthly produced in the digital@bw project “Competence Field Satellite Data” based on Sentinel-2 satellite data for the year 2020 in CIR (MSI Color-Infrared, Sentinelbands: 8/4/3) The so-called color infrared image consists of the Near Infrared (NIR)-, the Red-, and the Green Channel. From this representation, the state of vitality can be derived from vegetation. Healthy vegetation has a high return radiation in the infrared range and therefore appears bright red, while sick or dead vegetation is depicted in brown to grey tones. The mosaic calculation is under construction. According to completion, this service expands with additional mosaic layers
