Wuppertal ATOM Feed Municipal Electoral Districts

The ATOM Feed Downloadservice for Wuppertal municipal electoral districts provides a dataset for download, which includes polygons of the 33 Wuppertal municipal electoral districts. These are managed in the small-scale structure of the city of Wuppertal, a node and edge model of the city, which serves as the spatial reference base of the Wuppertal municipal statistics. Within this system, the local electoral districts are aggregated from the voting districts, while at the same time forming a real division of the districts (not inter-municipal constituencies). The municipal electoral districts of Wuppertal are constant in the long term. Changes are made by the Electoral Committee of the City of Wuppertal only if changes in population distribution or constitutional requirements make this necessary. This last time took place on 20 February 2020 for the municipal elections on 13 September 2020, taking into account the judgment of the Constitutional Court for the State of NRW of 20.12.2019 (VerfGH 35/19). Future changes in the districts of Wuppertal are not predictable. However, the data that the download service accesses will be updated on a regular basis for security purposes.
