Dataset description

(1) The National Park is divided into three zones, which are indicated in the map referred to in § 3(1): 1. Rest zone (zone I) — red, 2. Intermediate zone (zone II) — green, 3. Recovery zone (zone III) — yellow. In the maps of Appendices 2 and 3, the individual zones of Zone I are marked by numbers with Arabic numerals. (2) Unless otherwise provided in paragraphs 3 and 4, the map work referred to in Section 3(1) shall be decisive for the delimitation of the zones between themselves. (3) The areas of the rest zone are described in Appendix 1. 2For the delimitation of the resting zone areas, the following shall apply: 1. Immutable boundary points are determined by geographical coordinates. 2. The card shall be decisive for the course of the bounds of the rest zone referred to in Paragraph 3(1) with a continuous line marked as fixed. 3. The course of the mapwork referred to in Paragraph 3(1) by an interrupted line as changing boundaries of the rest zone shall be described by the information contained in Appendix 1 — at sea in conjunction with the official sea map in each case. Where a boundary of the rest zone is formed by the outside of a plate or sand, the nautical chart zero line shall prevail; if the boundary of the rest zone is formed by a priel, a balje or a spouse, the nautical chart zero line on the side facing the rest zone is decisive. Where the boundary is formed by tons, a dune foot or other natural or artificial points of interest recognizable on site, their location shall be decisive. (4) The sea boundary of the recovery zone shall be formed by the middle flood line, provided that Annex 3 identifies areas not lower as recovery zones. 2In this case, the sea boundary marked by a continuous line is formed by a line formed by coordinates; the lateral boundary there arises from the straight line between marker piles, which, according to the specifications of Appendix 3, are each at the middle flood line and above that line. 3The demarcation of low lying areas of the recovery zone, moreover, is apparent from the presentation in Annex 3. The dataset provides the current zoning. The GIS data can be downloaded under the “Facts” section.
