Dataset description

The dataset contains the annual average values for benzene in Düsseldorf since 1995 from the urban measuring stations. The values are expressed in µg/m³. Data on other pollutants are provided in datasets on ozone and soot. In addition to the archive data for fine dust (daily values for fine dust), fine dust data on exceedance days and annual average values are also available. Similarly, the load is treated with nitrogen oxides. Here you will find the time series as archive data, the annual averages and also the most up-to-date measured values. The files with the most up-to-date values are automatically supplemented once per hour by another measured value. The spatial information of the urban measuring stations is available in a separate dataset. The state capital of Düsseldorf carries out air quality measurements and evaluates the results on the basis of the legal basis. It is currently the Federal Immission Protection Act in combination with the 39. Federal Immission Control Regulation. Further information can be found on the ‘Air Quality’ page of the Environmental Agency. Further information sources can be reached via the links of the ‘Online Data’ page. The files contain the following column information: Year: Annual averages Summaries: Values of the measuring station at Ludenberger Allee (measurements discontinued at the end of 2013) Doro: Values of the measuring station on Dorotheenstraße BRINCK: Values of the measuring station at Brinckmannstraße Aaper: Values of the measuring station in the Aaper Forest (measurements discontinued at the end of 2013)
