Dataset description

Digital orthophotos with a floor pixel size of 40x40cm² (ATKIS®-DOP40) are produced from aerial images of the country’s aerials. Thereby, the perspective distortions of the aerial images are eliminated by reformation and a picture with parallel projection is created, which has a uniform scale across the entire image area. In orthophotos it is possible to measure distances and surfaces. —This dataset is only available free of charge for online retrieval.—
