Dataset description
In Lower Saxony, an agricultural water protection advice on the protection of groundwater against nitrates has been offered since 2010. Advice and specific agri-environmental measures can be used by farmers who manage land within the target setting. This backdrop has been extended several times to include areas in which advice and measures for the protection of surface water bodies are also to be implemented. The consultation has also been expanded in terms of content. In the areas of surface water protection, in addition to nitrogen inputs, the entries of phosphorus are discussed.
