Dataset description

A block side is part of the municipal division. This hierarchical system divides the Cologne city area into a city structure and block structure at various levels. Other components include a road structure and addresses. The entire municipal division is explained in this publication. Definition: A block side is part of a block and is clearly assigned to a road section. It denotes the area in which built-up plots with addresses to this section of the road are located or unbuilt land that is expected to be assigned to new buildings on this road. The block page always has at least one block section. Explanation of the attributes is attached to the shapefile as CSV. Coordinate system Shapefile: ETRS 1989 UTM Zone 32N
