A Bundestag constituency is the electoral organisation unit in which direct candidates are elected in a Bundestag election. As part of the electoral organisation, these are further divided into voting districts, which, in the event of an election, will be allocated an electoral room for voting at the ballot. The city area of Cologne is divided into 4 Bundestag constituencies.
Note: The borders of the Bundestag constituencies Cologne I, Cologne II and Cologne III are identical to the external borders of the city or with district borders. Deviating from this, the Bundestag constituency of Leverkusen — Cologne IV is composed of the municipal district of Mülheim and the Leverkusen district. This dataset contains objects for both subareas as well as for the entire area (distinction about the attribute name).
Explanation of the attributes is attached to the shapefile as CSV.
