Dataset description

Based on a regional analysis of the PKS data, these reports present the absolute case figures as well as the regionally better comparable frequency figures (cases per 100,000 inhabitants) for the 12 Berlin districts and 138 district regions for 17 different crime areas. The crime Atlas owes its origin to the broad need of public information (e.g. media, companies, universities) to develop the crime burden at the neighbourhood level. In addition, the Crime Atlas provides a data base for the Berlin administration to support cross-departmental regional planning.
