Cross-counting plausibility check of the 2015 road census

As part of the nationwide road traffic census (SVZ), which takes place every 5 years, key characteristics of traffic are determined. Different survey days, different survey methods (manual/automatic) and also different extrapolation parameters have so far led to inconsistencies in adjacent sections. The task of the mFUND project NETZPLAUSI was to identify these inconsistencies in a computer-based manner, categorise them and, if possible, provide suggestions for improvement for the extrapolation methodology. Thanks to the support of the Landesstelle für Straßentechnik in Baden-Württemberg and the Autobahndirektion Südostbayern, the results of the SVZ 2015 were analysed in more detail for two federal states and conspicuous positions in the road network were identified with regard to the extrapolation results. The CSV file provided contains example of the detected anomalies.
