Dataset description

SF from RADOLAN (Radar Online Approval), see www.dwd.de/RADOLAN daily precipitation data from 11/2006, available hourly The “historical” data (1.11.2006 to 31.12.2018) are grouped as compressed files monthly and are in the original binary format in the corresponding subdirectories on historical/yyyyyyyy (e.g. YYYY=2015 for the data from 2015). Current files are automatically provided in the “recent” subdirectory (approx. (hh+ 1):30 for the previous hour until hh:50) automatically (by AFD).
