Data of the destination timetable Deutschlandtakt in the format railML TT The data set includes the train journeys of long-distance rail passenger transport (SPFV), local rail passenger transport (SPNV) and rail freight transport (SGV) from the third and final reviewer draft in the target timetable Deutschlandtakt (more information at https://www.deutschlandtakt.de/). These timetable data are provided in the open format railML TT 2.2 (description of the format see https://www.railml.org/). The Deutschlandtakt is the planning basis for a needs-based expansion and optimal use of the rail infrastructure on the basis of an integral cycle schedule with systematised routes for all modes of transport. The aim is to expand the federal rail routes for a networked, fast, reliable, often-trafficking offer with optimal connections for rail passenger transport and with demand-based capacities for extended rail freight transport with shorter transport times. The Deutschlandtakt is thus a compass and continuous planning basis for the infrastructural further development of the German rail network. The destination timetable Deutschlandtakt is based on an integral timetable for passenger transport with optimal connections for the entire range of services from high-speed to regional railways on the longest European rail network. The target timetable is supply-oriented and thus creates the basis for the targeted doubling of passenger numbers. At the same time, the Deutschlandtakt takes equal account of the route capacities required for a growing freight transport.
