Deeper glacial water conductors

Deeper glacial water conductors are common in many parts of Schleswig-Holstein. They are separated from the near-surface, covered or non-covered water conductor by binding horizons — glacial sludge gels, sludge and clays — with a thickness of at least 5 m. The representational minimum power of a deeper glacial water conductor is 5 m. For such widths, depending on the local overall power and the formation conditions of the glacial sediment sequence, a sequence of several deep glacial water conductors is also possible. They reach maximum to depths of -100 mNN. Greater depths are only reached in glacial gutters.
