Dataset description

Distribution of the areas of artesically tensed groundwater as a layer of the digital hydrogeological map 1:100 000. It is recommended to display together with the separate shelf layers groundwater equalisers and groundwater stock plants. Zoom limit min 1:200 000 to max. 1:50 000. Artesically tensed groundwater is groundwater whose groundwater pressure area lies in the area considered above the Earth’s surface. The areas of artesically tensed groundwater were determined by an intersection of the respective groundwater surface with the DGM50 or DGM25 of the State Office for Digitisation, Broadband and Surveying. Since this is based on a 50-m or 25-m grid, the graphically smoothed boundaries of these areas cannot be considered as a separate line. The dHK100 was created between 2000 and 2015 (planning region 14 Munich to 2019) according to planning regions. There is no systematic update of the dHK100. Due to the planning region-wise processing over longer periods of time, geometric and attributive inconsistencies can occur between the concurrent vector data along the planning region boundaries. These are due to different basic cards from which the cards are derived. Geometries and legend units are designed for an overview scale 1:100 000 (1 cm on a map correspond to 1 km in nature) and are generally generalised. The dHK100 or HK100 is intended as a basis for large-scale considerations. It does not replace detailed examinations and assessments by a specialist office in the planning of local projects. Scale-related accuracy does not change due to the scale-independent visualisation possibilities of digital map works. For further interpretations that combine or intersect the map work with other spatial data sets, it should be noted that an intersection of spatial data of greatly different resolution or target scales or different type of attribuing can lead to implausible or difficult to interpret results.
