Dataset description
The preliminary issue DTK25-V consists of georeferenced grid data from the scanned topographic map 1: 25 000 (TK25). The new editions DTK25 are derived from the basic DLM — see DTK25. The data is available in layers (single layer, essentially corresponding to the inks) or combined from them as sum layers. They are available in 6 content levels: Situation black (e.g. floor plan, map names), map names blue, forest areas, water lines, water areas, relief — sand areas — border band restricted area. In the Berlin area 20 map sheets are exclusively used as topographic city map (TSK25) 1: 25 000 edited — see DTSK25-V. The sheet corners are specified in pixel and UTM coordinates in an ASCII file. Standard resolution: 200 lines per cm = 508 dpi. The data is provided free of charge via automated procedures or by self-collection. When using the data, the license conditions must be observed.
