Dataset description

The dataset contains the election results of the mayoral and city council elections from 1979 to 2014 for the districts as well as council and voting districts in the city of Moers. For the 2014 local elections, the spatial structure was changed. Therefore, in the 2009 comparative election, the voting districts were adjusted (see variable STIMMBEZnew). The voting district 308.3 was renamed 309.1 and vice versa. This also affects the spatial layout and results of Council constituencies 308 and 309 (see RATSWAHLBEZnew). Shape files can be used for cartographic representation.
