The dataset provides an overview of the provision of emergency rescue services to the population over time. In addition, these are listed in auxiliary tables by administrative districts. The Rescue Coordination Centre is the central body of the rescue service. It receives requests for assistance, gives orders to the forces, coordinates their journeys and monitors radio communications. Ground-based life-saving equipment (rescue, emergency medical and ambulance vehicles) and personnel are held in the rescue guards. Their locations are distributed among the emergency services area in such a way that the prescribed aid deadlines are met and that the population is as uniform as possible. Rescue helicopters are used as air rescue agents. A rescue helicopter ensures emergency medical care within a radius of 50-70 km and complements the ground-based rescue service. On the homepage of the
