Dataset description

ASCII. A PH_Annual Detector* file contains all observations on each plant (e.g. oats) with a fixed object_id (e.g. 208). The rows are sorted by Stations_id, Reference Year, Phase_id. Each line corresponds to the entry of a phase. A list of all stations is available at: https://opendata.dwd.de/climate_environment/CDC/help/PH_Beschreibung_Phaenologie_Stationen_Jahresmelder.txt . Permanent grassland, winter wheat, winter rye, winter barley, winter rape, summer wheat, summer barley, oats, sunflower, corn, beet, forage beet, sugar beet. The phenological observers carry out observation sessions in a defined area. A station ID has been assigned to this area by the measurement network management. As soon as the phases to be observed have occurred, the observer shall note the Dates in the diary for phenological observations. Agricultural crops are always observed in the same field for annual reports from order to harvest. Observers shall send the template containing the collected data to network management for collection of the database at the end of the year. The template will be replaced in the long term by the online transmission of the data (2018: about 50 % of observers).
