Dataset description

ASCII. In a PH_Annual Detector* file, all observations on each plant (e.g. gooseberry) with a fixed object_id (e.g. 350). The rows are sorted by Stations_id, Reference Year, Phase_id. Each line corresponds to the entry of a phase. A list of all stations is available at: https://opendata.dwd.de/climate_environment/CDC/help/PH_Beschreibung_Phaenologie_Stationen_Sofortmelder.txt . Apple, apple — late ripeness, sweet cherry, gooseberry, currant — all varieties, red currant. The phenological observers carry out observation sessions in a defined area. A station ID has been assigned to this area by the measurement network management. Observed on the whole of the plants and crops in the assigned Area (not only on a selected object) and reported is the first detected or the latest occurrence of a phase in the observation area.The notification is made online or by telephone. The data of the instant detectors are archived in the DWD climate database.
