The evaporation potential map was replaced in 2021 by the Hamburg Floor Cooling Performance Card and completely replaced. After the introduction of the ground cooling performance card, the evaporative potential card must not be used further. Compared to the evaporation potential map, the soil cooling performance map is not only based on more recent and improved data bases, but also on a modified conceptual approach to map development.
Evaporative potential map
As of 2011
The map shows areas where a high degree of evaporation performance of the soils is given due to the small spacing of the first aquifer or as a result of congestion water and thus a high climate relevance in relation to the urban climate.
