Frequency of betting events on 10 selected German motorways over 2 years

Reanalysis data from all over Germany from the period 1.12.2017-30.11.2019 were used for the analysis of which routes were the most frequent. The 10 selected routes were mapped as points with a distance of 1 km. For these 3160 points, the weather values were read from the individual time steps (1 hour resolution = 24 time steps per day and parameter = 122,640 records). The values were averaged per parameter (=24 per day = 122,640 for 2 years) (for wind speed, gusts, snow depth, ice) or summed up (fall, fresh snow height). Fog counted how much of the cases 95 % of relative humidity was exceeded. These values were then standardised. The highest or most common value received the value of 100, the lowest or rarest the value 0. Parameters: Wind speed, gusts of wind, precipitation, snow depth, fresh snow depth, ice, fog (> 95 % humidity)
