Dataset description

The Flood Risk Management Directive (HWRM-RL) 2. Cycle 2016-2021 identified potentially affected groundwater bodies for flood load cases HQ Frequently, HQ100, HQextrem. Cycle of the HWRM-RL.The catchment areas of the large rivers (river basin units) have been divided into sub-category areas. Within the partial catchment areas, the groundwater bodies were defined according to hydraulic limits and hydrogeological criteria. As hydraulic limits, the above-ground water sheaths were used as upper currents and the relevant pre-floods as an undercurrent limit. It was assumed that the watersheds of the above-ground waters also reflect the underground water sheaths.
