Historical building references NW

The historical building references define the exact position of over 4 million buildings in North Rhine-Westphalia. Data source is the real estate register and thus the official list of all parcels and buildings. The contents of the property register are usually based on an individual survey on site and are continuously updated by the cadastral authorities. The historical building references do not include postal information (postal code, postal name, addition to the postal name, postal district) to the buildings, as these are not part of the real estate register in North Rhine-Westphalia. At the end of a year, the datasets of the building references are kept and made available as timelines. The annual figures will be available from 2016.
