The data set shows the distribution and hydrogeological properties of the upper aquifers in Thuringia on a scale of 1:200,000 and is part of the hydrogeological map of Thuringia 1: 200.000. This map provides the basis for reporting to the EU in the context of the EC Water Framework Directive. Data prepared for INSPIRE contain only the geo-objects of the class Aquitard.
