Income and expenditure of universities by type of higher education and teaching and research — country — year (hide with blank lines)

*Short description The university finance statistics, regardless of the sponsorship, extend to all educational institutions recognised as universities under national law (including the university hospitals) and provides an overview of the finances of universities. The data are collected by universities in accordance with the available accounting form. For a comparative presentation of results, the income and expense types as well as the capital expenditures are currently reclassified into the corresponding income and output types of camera literature. With the exception of “revenues from allocations and grants from the higher education institution”, the data are collected according to teaching and research areas. In addition to the individual disciplines, the subject key includes positions for central institutions (e.g. Central Business and Welfare Institutions, Central Library) and a position on “universities as a whole” to which expenditure and revenue are allocated to the university as a whole or which cannot be assigned to individual departments.
