Initial rents (stock) in euros per m², municipal level

Shown are the average, advertised rental prices per square meter of living space. The existing segment covers all properties, with year of construction older than three years before the marketing year. Standard prices describe the middle segment (median). Top prices indicate the 95 % percentile, initial prices the 5 % percentile. The price range between peak and initial prices thus reflects at least 90 % of the rental prices considered, but also the entire range of the advertised rents in case of small cases. Data only for areas where at least 20 objects per segment and year could be taken into account. Data base is an extensive collection of carefully processed real estate market data from more than 100 sources (offer data). The collection feeds on continuously, Germany-wide and extensively researched real estate listings and was cleaned up for duplicates and fraud advertisements. In addition to the well-known large real estate marketplaces, the research also includes smaller, specialised Internet sources and print media.
