Dataset description

The data set includes the three constituencies 31, 32 and 33, insofar as they concern the city of Wuppertal. The constituencies 31 and 32 are entirely located in the eastern and northwestern parts of Wuppertal. The constituency 33 comprises the southwestern part of Wuppertal and the Solinger district of Gräfrath. Therefore, it is not fully included in the data base, but only with its Wuppertal area share. The three polygons of the dataset are kept in the small-scale structure of the city of Wuppertal, a node and edge model of the city, which serves as the spatial reference base of the Wuppertal municipal statistics. Within this system, the “Landtag constituencies in Wuppertal” are aggregated from municipal districts and (in the districts of Barmen and Elberfeld) municipal electoral districts. The Landtag constituencies in Wuppertal are constant in the long term. Changes based on an amendment to the Land Electoral Act are in principle possible, but not foreseeable. The dataset is available under an open data license (CC BY 4.0). The data set includes the three constituencies 31, 32 and 33, insofar as they concern the city of Wuppertal.
