Dataset description

The data collection provides an overview of the language understanding of Leipzig migrants in relation to the German language (self-assessment) grouped by country of origin and gender. In each case, the proportion of respondents in percent that has indicated that the German language is “very good” or “good” is listed. The data were determined in the context of the migrant survey 2020 of the City of Leipzig.
