Legally binding landscape plans Wuppertal

The data set “Legally binding landscape plans Wuppertal” covers the spatial scope of the four legally binding landscape plans of the city of Wuppertal: Wuppertal-Gelpe, Wuppertal-Ost, Wuppertal-Nord and Wuppertal-West. Apart from the Wuppertal-West landscape plan, the scopes are multipolygons, i.e. several non-coherent areas (North: 13, East: 4, Gelpe: 2). The spatial scope of the Wuppertal landscape plans was constructed by the Department of Surveying, cadastral office and spatial data by professionally interpreting the analogue and digital originals along parcel boundaries, limits of actual use or other topographical lines of the property cadastre. The files on previously given individual information on the location of a parcel within or outside a landscape plan (product “Excerpt from planning law”) were also used in order to avoid contradictory statements by the city administration in this regard. Each individual area has, among other things, three property attributes, which contain hyperlinks to the text part, the fixing map and the development map, each in the form of multi-page PDF documents. A continuation of the database takes place only if a new landscape plan has become final or after a legally effective change of an existing landscape plan. The dataset is available under an open data license (CC BY-ND 4.0) with the exclusion of data modification. According to the AG Geokom.NRW of the leading municipal associations in NRW and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the landscape plans pursuant to §7 (3) Landesnaturschutzgesetz NRW have a statutory publication obligation in accordance with the requirements of the INSPIRE Directive and the Geodata Access Act NRW. In the recommendation for action of this WG, they are assigned to the topic of “soil use” set out in Annex III to the Directive.
