Locations of glass containers in the metropolitan area of Münster In this dataset there are about 300 parking spaces. Each is equipped with at least one white and a green glass container. In the outskirts there are often three-chamber containers. They also have an additional insert opening for brown glass. The insertion times are: Mon — Sat from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. During glass recycling, the glass shards from the glass containers are melted into a glass mass from which new glasses can be produced. However, this only works if the collected glass has the same melting point. Therefore, only disposable glasses can be inserted into the glass containers. Not included in the glass containers: Refractory glass, e.g. casseroles, jars, coffee and teapots, flat glass, light bulbs, porcelain, mirrors, stoneware.
