Long-term permits for car cranes in NRW — Heavy transport card for the 36 t auto crane

The digital heavy transport map represents all structures in the construction load of the Landesbetriebe Straßenbau NRW and Autobahn GmbH, which are not allowed to pass from a static point of view. The map serves only as an overview for the planning and execution of the transports. It does not replace the application for permission/authorisation! According to NRW Decree 58.97.02.04-000002 of 19.01.2021, for certain car cranes with 3 axes and a total weight of 36 tonnes, a nationwide permanent permit for federal long-distance and state roads in NRW can be granted without consulting the Landesbetriebe Straßenbau NRW. The prerequisite for this is the acquisition of the current digital heavy transport map of the Landesbetriebe Straßenbau NRW. Immediately before the start of the journey, the corresponding daily digital heavy-duty transport card must be retrieved by the driver and the intended route must be checked with regard to existing structures with driving bans. This includes only the following cranes: three-axle car cranes with an axle spacing of at least 1.65 m and a distance between the first and third axles of at least 4.40 m nationwide for driving on federal long-distance roads.
