The delimitation of the main concentration area of sea divers covers all areas very high and the majority of areas with high sea diver density. The delimitation of the main concentration area in the west and southwest was chosen in such a way that all important and known regular occurrences are included. The common position of the business unit of the BMU is that in the context of future approval procedures for offshore wind farms, the “main concentration area” should be used as a benchmark for the cumulative assessment of sea diver habitat loss that no further OWPs are approved within this area.
