New registrations of motor vehicles and their trailers by manufacturer and trade name (FZ 4)

The data base for this evaluation is the notifications from the registration authorities to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) about newly registered motor vehicles and their trailers in Germany. These communications concerning motor vehicles and their trailers and their holders are stored in the Central Vehicle Register (ZFZR). They are the data base for the identification of newly registered motor vehicles (cars) and their trailers (car trailers) in the reporting year. The evaluation takes place on the basis of selected characteristics. This is where the focus is on the manufacturers. These overviews by manufacturer and trade name include the cars with more than 30 new registrations in the reporting year as well as the car trailers with more than 100 units. In addition, car trailers with fewer than ten new registrations are not identified for further outline characteristics. Reporting period is one calendar year.
