New registrations of passenger cars (cars) by segment and model series in 2022 (FZ 11)

Through the notifications from the registration authorities in Germany, the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) in the Central Vehicle Register (ZFZR) registers all newly registered vehicles in Germany. In addition to vehicle-related data, such as the brand, model series, fuel type, vehicle body, information on the holder and the registration process, such as the date of registration, are transmitted. In addition to the monthly new registrations of passenger cars, FZ 11 also lists new vehicles for the full year up to and including the month under review by segment and model series as well as the shares of commercial owners. Furthermore, the share of the individual model series in the segment as well as the change in the month of the previous year and the same period of the previous year are presented in percent. Changes in the previous year’s month or period, which exceed 500 percent, are reported with X. Cutting limits are formed with the aim of a clear presentation. The respective reporting month will be published.
