New registrations, transfer of ownership, decommissioning of motor vehicles and their trailers by district of registration in one year (FZ 5)

The basis for the evaluation is the notifications submitted by the registration authorities to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) concerning new registrations, decommissionings and transfer of ownership of motor vehicles and their trailers in Germany. The data is registered in the Central Vehicle Register (ZFZR) in the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) and evaluated here according to selected characteristics, such as vehicle classes, registration district and holder groups. In the case of regional divisions, the place of residence of the holder or the registered office, the establishment or the service shall be decisive. The postcode (postcode) is not used as an evaluation feature, it serves only to supplement the name of the place. For municipalities with more than one postcode, only the lowest is indicated. Due to the incorporation that has been implemented in the meantime, deviations from the currently valid postal code may arise in individual cases. Until 2006, the decommissionings were referred to as deletions. The reporting period is one calendar year.
