Dataset description

The INSPIRE Download Service enables the download of spatial data of the results of noise mapping in the state of Brandenburg. These include: a) the noise protection area and the ambient noise mapping for major airports; B) Strategic noise maps for metropolitan areas (Potsdam) and C) Strategic noise maps for roads. Directive 2002/49/EC (Environmental Noise Directive) on the assessment and management of environmental noise calls on EU Member States to draw up strategic noise maps for defined study rooms by 30 June 2007 and every five years thereafter. The examination rooms result in the implementation of the EU Directive into German law pursuant to § 47a-f of the Federal Immission Protection Act and the Ordinance on noise mapping (34. BImSchV). For the state of Brandenburg, the investigation area was defined in 2012 by the obligation to map the skin roads with a traffic volume of more than 3 million vehicles per year. The investigation area also includes the large airport Berlin-Schönefeld/Berlin Brandenburg as well as the Potsdam metropolitan area. (The mapping of the main railway lines is the responsibility of the Federal Railways Office.) See also: http://www.mlul.brandenburg.de/cms/detail.php/bb1.c.299530.de a) Flight noise: 1. Noise protection area for Berlin Brandenburg Airport (EDDB) according to the Act for the Protection against Airborne Noise (FlugLärmG). The noise protection area includes day protection zones 1 and 2 as well as a night protection zone. It is determined and determined independently of the day-protected area or night protected area in accordance with the Plan Approval Decision/Plan Supplementary Decision under the responsibility of the Ministry of Rural Development, Environment and Agriculture (MLUL). See also: http://www.mlul.brandenburg.de/cms/detail.php/bb1.c.299440.de 2. Environmental noise mapping for Berlin-Schönefeld airport (EDDB; future Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER). In a first step, the environmental noise mapping looked at the current state of the Berlin-Schönefeld airport, taking into account the 2010 data base. Following the determination of future flight procedures (flight routes) by the Federal Air Traffic Control Authority (BAF) on 26 January 2012 and the necessary calculation bases were fully available as of 8 November 2012, the second step was to map the extended state (foreseeable noise situation 2015 for BER). See also: http://www.mlul.brandenburg.de/cms/detail.php/bb1.c.299530.de B) agglomeration noise: Strategic noise maps for metropolitan areas (Potsdam). The isophonic cards are used for Sub-areas 1. Road traffic noise, 2. Industrial and commercial noise and 3. Rail traffic noise (tram only) provided. In addition, the results of environmental noise mapping are as material data output in relation to a) Noise-burdened people; and B) Noise-loaded areas, apartments, school and hospital buildings; differentiated according to the three subdivisions, deposited on the area of the Potsdam metropolitan area. The data of the road network and buildings on the basis of the calculation are also available. See also: http://www.mlul.brandenburg.de/cms/media.php/lbm1.a.3310.de/laerm_k.pdf road traffic noise: Strategic noise maps for major roads. All municipalities of the state of Brandenburg are examined with roads > 3 million vehicles/d. It will be, as in § 2 of the 34. BImSchV required the two noise indices LDEN and LNight. In accordance with § 4(4), 34. BImSchV shows the noise situation for the LDEN in the following isophone bands with a class width of 5 dB.
