Overview of all projects supported by the European Regional Development Fund in NRW during the 2014-2020 funding period

The data set contains an overview of all projects approved and supported under the “Operational Programme of North Rhine-Westphalia for the Promotion of Investments for Growth and Jobs from the European Regional Development Fund” (OP ERDF) during the 2014-2020 funding period. Some important preliminary remarks: The start of implementation may well be after the end of the funding period (31.12.2020). “Projects” is used as synonym for project and the dataset is therefore referred to as the “List of Projects”. For reasons of data protection law, the approvals of the consulting programme for business and the start-up premium as well as the promotion of measures for cogeneration plants are not presented individually. Date of start and end of implementation: Physical start of implementation. The date is given in the YYYY-MM-DD format. EU co-financing rate: Values in percent. The maximum possible value is 50 %, as this is the share of the individual project costs that the EU is responsible for maximising in more developed regions (such as NRW). Area code of the place of implementation of the project: The individual number of the area in which the project is being carried out, in numerical form. Area name: The area name describes the location of the project implementation in text form. This can be a district-free city such as Cologne or Düsseldorf, a district such as the Kreis Viersen or a municipality such as Schwalmtal or a city such as Dinslaken.
