Rescue points (Kreis Recklinghausen/Vector data)

This data set contains the rescue points of the Civil Protection Service and the district control centre of the district administration Recklinghausen. In order to enable injured hikers, joggers, riders or cyclists to accurately specify their location in the forest, more than 100 emergency points with accurate location data were installed. The location is indicated by a person in need in the forest on uniform DIN A4-sized signboards with red border. For the location coordinates (for example: Re 789-268) is the abbreviation for the district of Recklinghausen as well as a six-digit number, which must be specified in an emergency call. The mission control computer can display the location of the aid seeker on the screen to the fire brigade and rescue services and provide a detailed description of the location.
